Volunteering at the Senior Center of Jackson Hole is a rewarding way to get more involved in our community. The Senior Center couldn’t do what we do without our amazing volunteers! Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver meals to home bound seniors in the area. Meal delivery begins at 11:30 am Monday-Friday and usually takes 45 – 90 minutes depending on the route. By volunteering to deliver Meals on Wheels, you’re guaranteed to meet some amazing community members and help seniors remain independent in their homes. We will show you what to do! Sign up to be a regular volunteer or just help out when your schedule allows.
Customer Service
Customer Service Volunteers assist by answering the phone, stocking supplies, assisting with lunch sign-ins, and other administrative tasks. It’s a great way to get to know everyone at the Senior Center! Customer Service Volunteer hours are flexible, so if you’re a friendly person who likes to stay busy this is a great role for you.
Facilities Management
Maintenance, light cleaning duties, watering plants, landscaping, window washing, etc.
Photographer
We love special events and having fun at the Senior Center! Be part of Senior Center history by helping us document these special memories. Donate your time and talents by volunteering to photograph Senior Center events. Your donation will help the Senior Center with future marketing materials. Sign up to be notified when we are looking for a photographer or arrange a time to drop by the Senior Center.
Special Events
The Senior Center maintains a list of people who want to help at various special events happening throughout the year. Tasks may include decorating a room for an event, setting tables, serving food, clearing tables, or post-event clean up. Sign up to be part of our Special Events Volunteer team and we’ll be in touch when events are planned.
Special Projects
Are you an artist, a musician, or have another unique skill to share with the Senior Center community? We love when people share their talents! Please be in touch and let us know how you’d like to get involved.
Tech Tutors
One of our most popular new offerings at the Senior Center, Tech Tutor Appointments have become a great way for volunteers to connect with Local Seniors. If you know your way around computers, phones, and other devices, this opportunity might be for you!
