July is Disability Pride Month
July is National Disability Pride Month to mark the anniversary of the passing of the American Disabilities Act on July 26, 1990. It is essential to take pride in who you are and what you have accomplished, no matter your level of ability. People with disabilities deserve to live whole lives, and July is about showcasing something that people cannot control about themselves that also doesn’t define them. This month is about being proud of yourself and loving yourself!
