Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Grief. Everyone, at some point, deals with overwhelming, distressing emotions. While we can’t predict or control when we will experience intense emotions, we can work to develop healthy coping skills for those moments. Many times, out of habit, we may lean on coping skills that aren’t always healthy (alcohol, avoidance, social media, etc) because we don’t know what else to do. Join us to understand the difference between ‘healthy’ and ‘unhealthy’ coping skills. Learn new techniques and resources for handling intense or distressing emotions. Taking care of our mental health takes practice, just like our physical well-being!
