Becky Zaist, Executive Director
Becky moved to the valley in 1976 and enjoyed working as outreach counselor to Seniors way back then! After leaving the valley and spending nine years overseas, she returned in 1996 with her husband and two girls. Becky was thrilled to return to working with seniors when she joined the Senior Center team as Executive Director in 2007. She loves her job of helping seniors live their best lives! When not at the center she enjoys knitting, reading, hiking and skiing.
MacKenzie Moore, Activities/Volunteer Coordinator
MacKenzie is born and raised in Jackson and recently moved back after living in Kelowna, British Columbia. Before she started working at the Senior Center, MacKenzie served as the Director of a national consulting company called Twomentor, which builds mentoring programs for corporations and universities. She has a 5 year old dog named Luna and spends her free time hiking, skiing, fishing, cooking and playing games.
Right now, MacKenzie is focused on supporting our Meals on Wheels clients and volunteers, boosting our outdoor social distancing activities, restarting Tech Tutoring and more.
Amando Perfecto, Head Cook
Amando was raised in Tlaxcala, Mexico and moved to Jackson in 1996. He has been at the Senior Center ever since, learning and moving up from dishwasher, to Assistant Cook, to Head Cook. Amando has also worked at many prominent local restaurants – Jedediah’s, Amangani, Spring Creek, and 12 years as Head Chef at Stiegler’s. He loves making food that pleases the seniors. When not working, Amando enjoys camping and wakeboarding on the lake.
Rebecca Erskine, Assistant Director
Rebecca joined the Senior Center in 2017. She graduated from Concordia College in Minnesota with a BA in Biology. She lived in Washington DC, Denver and Myrtle Beach, SC before deciding to move back to Jackson with her husband and two daughters. Rebecca has worked for and volunteered for many non-profits including Teton County Friends of the Library, Teton Youth and Family Services, Women Infants & Children, Community Entry Services, American Cancer Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Her career has focused on activity & event planning which she hopes will further the development of the Senior Center. She is enjoying getting reacquainted with many folks from her childhood and meeting new people coming to the Center everyday.
Erin Crow, Home Care Manager
Erin first came to Jackson right after graduating from University of Denver over 16 years ago. Her experience working with seniors ranges from serving as an Activities Director, private care companion, Assisted Living Executive Director, and senior facility auditor. She is happy to be able to give back to her community in the role of Home Care Manager and is passionate about assisting seniors to thrive independently. When not at the center, Erin enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and traveling.
Jenny Ryan, Bookkeeper/Financial Manager
Kat Clauson, Data Manager
Kat has lived in the valley since 2011, after moving to Jackson “for a season” to complete her Wilderness EMT. From 2012 to 2020 she worked as your friendly neighborhood barista at Pearl Street Bagels, while also writing grants for her favorite non-profits back in the Pacific Northwest! The move to the Senior Center was a perfect transition for her, as it allowed her continued interaction with the people in this community, while also filling her cup in service to others. Kat graduated from Western Washington University in 2005 with a double B.A. in Music/Marketing, and worked in fundraising and development in downtown Seattle until her move to the Tetons. When she’s not hanging with the staff at SCJH, Kat is either enjoying the outdoors or snuggling her dog, Panda.
