Public Seminar on Wills and Simple Estate Planning- Free and Open to the Public
Please join us at the Senior Center on Friday, December 6th at 1:15 pm to learn about Wills and Simple Estate Planning. Jackson Attorney, Richard Manning, Jr., JD, MBA and LLM, will tell you what you need to know and answer your questions. This workshop will briefly recap the topics covered in the previous seminar and provide additional new information.
Every adult should have an estate plan. It’s that simple. A well thought out estate plan will maintain the financial security of individuals through their lifetime and facilitate the transfer of their assets at death. A good estate plan should take into consideration your unique circumstances and the potential costs of different estate planning methods.
All too often, people say:
- “Estate planning is only for the super-rich.”
- “Estate planning is too complicated and expensive.”
- “All my property is titled in joint tenancy so I don’t need a will.”
- “We did our wills right after we got married 30 years ago and see no need for further planning.”
