The mission of the Senior Center of Jackson Hole is to provide a range of services to support and enhance the lives of senior citizens and assist them to remain independent as long as possible.  By volunteering at the Senior Center, you can help us provide these services to seniors.

Contact Hannah Sell, Activities and Volunteer Coordinator with questions:

Meals on Wheels Volunteers

Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver meals to homebound seniors in the area.  Meal delivery happens at 11:30 am Monday-Friday and takes approximately 1 hour.  By volunteering to deliver Meals on Wheels, you're guaranteed to meet some amazing community members and help seniors remain independent in their homes.  We will show you what to do!  Looking for subs and regular volunteers.   Learn more about Meals on Wheels here.

Lunch Desk Volunteer

Lunch Desk Volunteers assist by answering the phone, stocking cups, silverware and coffee supplies, assisting people as they sign in for lunch, and handling money.  It's a great way to get to know the people who use the Senior Center!  Hours are 9:30 - 1:30.  Currently all shifts Monday through Friday are full.  We are always looking for subs.

Special Events

Volunteers interested in helping at special events will be placed on a contact list and notified when an event is happening.  Tasks may include helping to decorate, set tables, serve food, clear tables and clean up after the event.

Free Food Table Volunteer

Hole Food Rescue generously delivers produce, meats, breads and other foods to the Senior Center for people to take home as needed. In this area, a volunteer is needed to break down boxes, clean tables and refrigerators, and sort through food.  This volunteer duty can easily be paired with other tasks around the Senior Center.

Saturday Exercise Equipment Monitor

Volunteer to open/close the building during the Saturday Exercise hours (10:30 am - 12:30 pm).  The volunteer monitor will remain in the building and respond to emergencies if necessary.  The time can be split into and opening and closing shift and you can exercise while volunteering!
